EatMyRide integrates with your favourite apps and activity trackers. Here we summarize the details of each integration.
In the EatMyRide app other apps can be connected via Profile > Settings > Connections. The apps that can be connected are:
For activities:
For routes:
For workouts:
When you connect one of the supported activity trackers, your last few bike rides, runs and swims will be synced to EatMyRide. Any ride, run or swim that you will do in the future will then be synced to EatMyRide as well. In EatMyRide you can open the synced activities, view your energy burn, log your carbohydrate intake and get more detailed nutrition insights.
There are some restrictions to which activities are supported:
You can use a route from one of the supported route planners for a personalized nutrition plan. After connecting the planner, the routes will be synced to EatMyRide. To select a route for your nutrition plan go to Home > Add an activity and select the connected route planner. This can be either Komoot, RideWithGPS or Strava. The app will show a list with all synced routes. Is your route not shown? Tap the Refresh icon on top to sync your most recent routes.
These are the requirements for routes to be synced:
Tip: do you only have a .gpx file of your route? You can upload it manually in EatMyRide via Home > Add an activity > File
If you use TrainingPeaks to plan your workouts, you can connect your account in EatMyRide to automatically sync workouts. This enables you to create personalized nutrition plans very easily. Once per day your upcoming workouts are synced from TrainingPeaks to EatMyRide. In this article we explain in more detail which workouts are allowed. Do you want to refresh your workouts manually? Go to Home > Add an activity and tap the Refresh icon next to TrainingPeaks.
Workouts in TrainingPeaks by default do not have a start time, unless you fill it in explicitly in TrainingPeaks. When the workout is synced to EatMyRide, the app will ask you to fill in the start time, so that a proper meal and nutrition plan for the day can be created.
If you finish your ride, run or swim which you planned in TrainingPeaks, you can evaluate the nutrition intake in EatMyRide. When doing so the activity can be linked to a planned activity. If the planned activity originated from a TrainingPeaks workout, EatMyRide will automatically post a summary of your burn and intake numbers as comment to your workout in TrainingPeaks.
Tip: are you using another app to plan your workouts, like Join.cc? You can also upload workouts manually as .fit file in EatMyRide via Home > Add an activity > File.
